Liang Liansheng is a professional painter.
Born in 1952 in Weifang City, he graduated from the Stage Design Department of Shanghai Theater Academy.
He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Shandong Artists Association, a national first-class artist, and a professor.
He began to publish his works in 1978, held his first solo exhibition in Qingdao in 1983, and then held more than ten exhibitions in Weifang, Xi'an, Beijing, South Korea, Japan, Fujian, Dalian, Taiwan and other countries.
In 1996, he held an exhibition on behalf of Qingdao and Shimonoseki City, Japan.
Since 1986, oil paintings, gouache paintings, watercolor paintings, and Chinese paintings have been selected for national art exhibitions and exhibitions at all levels, and have won many awards. In 1986, the gouache painting "Mountain City" was selected for the National Art Exhibition, in 1988, the oil painting "Still Life" was selected for the National Fine Arts Photography Exhibition, in 1999, the Chinese painting "Lotus Rhyme" was selected for the 2nd National Flower and Bird Painting Exhibition, in 2001, the Chinese painting "Luffa" was selected for the National Chinese Painting Exhibition, in 2002, the Chinese painting "Autumn in the Lotus Pond" was selected for the 12th National Star Award Exhibition and won the bronze medal, in 2002, the Chinese painting "Autumn Rhyme" was selected for the 60th National Art Exhibition, and in 2002, the Chinese painting "Lotus Rhyme" In 2009, the watercolor painting "Old House in the Mountain Village" was selected for the National Famous Painters Invitational Exhibition of Shandong, in 2009, the watercolor painting "Autumn Colors of the Canyon" was selected for the 11th National Art Exhibition and won the second prize in the Shandong Selected Exhibition, and in the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, he was selected as one of the 50 famous calligraphers and painters of Shandong nationality, and in 2011, he was invited to create a group portrait of Chinese business leaders.
In 1996, he held an exhibition on behalf of Qingdao and Shimonoseki City, Japan. He has published "Liang Liansheng's Gouache Painting Collection", "Liang Liansheng's Oil Painting Still Life Painting", "Liang Liansheng's Chinese Painting Collection", "Liang Liansheng's Chinese Painting Series", "Liang Liansheng's Selected Chinese Paintings", "Liang Liansheng's Splash Ink Art", "Liang Liansheng's Watercolor Painting Collection", etc. He has written monographs such as "A Brief Discussion on Color Space and Perspective", "How to Paint Color Still Life" and "How to Paint Landscapes".
In 1998, Liang Liansheng Painting Studio was established in Qingdao, Liang Liansheng Painting Studio was established in Australia in 2009, Liang Liansheng Art Museum was established in Qingdao in 2011, Liang Liansheng Art Museum Weifang was established in Weifang in 2016, Hisense Art Museum was established in 2022, and Wuhan Art Museum was established in 2024.
From June 9 to 10, 2018, President Xi Jinping chaired the 18th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Qingdao, China. Liang Liansheng's 17.2-meter-long, 7.45-meter-wide painting "Lotus Flowers in the Sun" was placed in Shanghe Hall, the main venue of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Qingdao Summit.
